The Julin School preschool program is a year-round class focused on working with a small group of 2.5 to 5 year olds to promote all areas of early childhood development through an arts-based approach and child led activities. Each day we focus on a different type of art such as fine arts, music, writing, dramatic play, and sculpting. Art has the power to express feelings creatively, lower stress, and develop the ability to think outside the box. Our main focus is strengthening social emotional skills to promote success in kindergarten and beyond. Children learn best when they have autonomy to choose their activities and get creative. This is why our school has open ended toys and art supplies available for the children to use at any time. We want to encourage and support the budding artist inside every child.
